Hello Deb,
Recently we had come across similar issue when we convert Webex recording into Flash. When we upload a flash based video it would not allow us to select Generic document or Knowledge document type, because flash is not recognized and we have to explicitly select among the other available options.
If we select among other available options, it would never mark the user as complete. Because LMS expects to receive passing status from the course and which does not happen in case of this video.
So we could not find an alternative and we converted the video into WMV format and uploaded it as generic document.
Wish to see if others had done something differently.
