Thanks. I knew I could count on you to always be in the loop on
this.

I was looking at JESPA for a transparent sign on integration.
Unfortunately, it requires Java 1.5. I’m not able to use IIS security due to
the domain structure, otherwise that would be the simplest way to do this.

The only data point I can add is that in the
recent required 'upgrade' of the Payflow Pro e-commerce integration, a direct
like-for-like switch would have required Java 1.5, and they didn't go that way.
STS went to a fair amount of effort to switch APIs and added code to avoid Java
1.5 requirements. Now, that's not really a new policy, so I'm not sure how much
this adds.

Are you building something interesting/new that requires a newer version of
Java?
