[docent_users] Re: Docent, cookies and CA SiteMinder

The company I work for has been using SiteMinder and Docent 6.5 in a
production environment since September 2004 and I have not
experienced the issue you are reporting.

You might have a conflict if the SiteMinder agent and the Docent site
are using the same browser domain.

You should check to see what domain the SiteMinder cookie is set to
use.

if the LMS web site URL is www.ABC.com and the SiteMinder cookie
domain was ABC.com there should be no conflict as long as the docent
site did not try to elevate its domain above the web site.
